Diane R. Pelly is a member of Opaskwayak Cree Nation and was born and raised in The Pas/OCN. Diane has worked in many different capacities, always in the field of helping others such as child and family services, health services, SK Youth Corrections, Province of MB Employment & Training, and in her current position as Training Coordinator for University College of the North.
She has education in Civil Engineering Technology, Band & Northern Community Administration, Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Education (Adult Ed & HRD). She intends to carries on the teachings of her mother.
