Jodie Parmar is the Manager, Project Development, Western Canada. He leads the CIB’s relationships with public and private project developers in Western Canada across all investment sectors. Also serving as the National Lead for Agricultural Infrastructure, Mr. Parmar leads the CIB’s investment activities in agriculture and agri-food. In his role, Mr. Parmar provides advice and executes investments that align with the CIB’s focus on new infrastructure in key priority sectors.
Parmar has nearly 30 years of experience in lending, structuring and advisory services for project finance and public-private partnership transactions across multiple infrastructure categories.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Regina. He also holds a Certificate (Honours) in Business Intelligence – Data Analytics and Reporting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary. He holds the CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) and CMA (Certified Management Accountants) designations and has completed executive education programs at institutions such as Harvard Business School and Queen’s University.
