Pat serves as principal of Margaret Barbour Collegiate Institute in The Pas, Manitoba. Passionate about creating pathways for all learners, he began his career with six years of teaching in Calgary, Alberta, focusing specifically on programming for at-risk youth. Pat later relocated to Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where he established the “Bridging Program”—a specialized initiative offering flexible pacing and targeted mentorship to help students struggling in traditional classrooms reintegrate into the regular stream. Pat brings over 35 years of experience in alternative programming and school leadership. He is dedicated to fostering inclusive school environments that empower vulnerable students to succeed.
