After transitioning into education, Jamie has focused on building strong partnerships between education, industry, and Northern communities. Passionate about creating opportunities for local people, she is committed to developing accessible, industry-driven training that prepares Northerners for the jobs and opportunities available right here at home.
With a strong belief in the potential of Northern Manitoba’s people, Jamie works to connect communities, industry, and education to build a skilled, local workforce and create lasting opportunities across the North.
Jodi started with University College of the North in 2022 as an Operations Coordinator in Swan River. In September 2024, she joined the Class 5 Program as an Administrative Assistant and has since taken on an expanded role supporting students, instructors, scheduling, registrations and day-to-day program operations.
Jodi is currently the Interim Program Coordinator and is proud to be part of a program that helps people across northern communities work toward their Class 5 license and greater independence.
