Paul Levesque
General Manager – Alamos Gold Lynn Lake Project
Paul Levesque is General Manager for Alamos Gold’s Lynn Lake Project located in northern Manitoba, which is one of Canada’s newest mine construction projects. With production expected to begin in mid-2028, Lynn Lake will be the company’s fourth mine, alongside Alamos’ three mines in northern Ontario and mine in Mexico. Paul’s career spans over 20 years in various technical services and mining operations positions. He was most recently General Manager of the Magino mine in Ontario which began production in 2023, before being acquired by Alamos Gold in 2024. Between 2007 and 2022, Paul held leadership positions at Newmont including responsibility for managing the mine operations and technical services functions for the Eleonore Mine in Quebec. He also held positions at Porcupine mine, one of the largest gold mines in Canada, holding positions including Chief Engineer, Technical Services Superintendent and Technical Service Manager. Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University in Sudbury, and is a Professional Engineer in good standing with two provincial engineering associations
